Christmas is a time when we think of household get-togethers and great meals. It is memory lane for most of us, taking pleasure in good friends, memorable times and traditional, favorite foods. However the weeks after the holidays are generally weight gains, health issue from a lot of sweets and food. Today white sugar, white flour, dairy items, saturated and trans fats, refined cars and excess calories are on the "no-no" list ... and with the vacation times it feels as if the sweets, cookies and cakes will become outdated. And we start to feel denied and panic stricken. It is a long-time custom.
