A Convection Oven Is A Super Toaster Oven

A convection oven is essentially an oven which has powerful fans to rapidly circulate air round food, thus cooking the food faster and more evenly. The more air circulation created by the oven, the faster food cooks. This is because the cooking surface area of a convection oven is much larger than that of a normal oven. This larger surface area means more of the heat is transferred to the food therefore making for quicker cooking of the food. Just about anything that you can bake in a traditional oven can be baked in a convection oven. Most convection ovens will have heating elements contained within their body. These heating elements are generally aluminum and copper combined with other materials depending on the model. They are usually placed behind the cooking surface of the appliance as they are harder to clean than those positioned directly above the food. The heating elements will also need to be made out of a high quality metal such as aluminum to prevent them developing heating burns. Ninja Convection Oven The main advantage that convection ovens have over other types of free-standing electric ovens is that they distribute the heat evenly throughout the cooking unit. This allows food to cook evenly from the outside towards the center, which means that there a more even cooking. The lack of any central hot spot means that even thick foods will cook evenly and in shorter time periods. You don't need to heat up your entire kitchen with your traditional oven when you use your convection oven.
